Time is a constant, so it never repeats itself but there are 4 individual and separate time codes.  In your character one of them governs all others; it is the 10,000 year perpetual calendar.  No.2 is time BC, No.3 is time AD and No.4 is the Western and Eastern monthly zodiacs.  Your time and date of birth fit into time codes 1, 3 and 4. This gives you two Chinese time codes in one day.  One for your year of birth and the other for the individual two hour period of the day in which you were born.  It is these two time codes plus the zodiac month in which you were born that governs the make-up of your individual character and make it what it is.  If you go back to your profile you will see which two Chinese time code animals are in your character and responsible for you being who you are.
